Flowtron Diplomat Commercial Indoor/Outdoor Fly Control Device - 120W / 2 Acres
Lure Power: 120 Watts
Coverage: Indoors 2,000 sq. ft.; Outdoors 2 acres
Effective, economical, safe
Flowtron electronic fly control devices combine ultraviolet black light energy with exclusive reflector panels and a special fly attracting pheromone (sex lure) to provide powerful fly control units that are ecologically safe, effective and economical to operate. Flies and other light-sensitive flying insect pests are attracted by the ultraviolet light and special lure and are eliminated as they fly through the electro statically charged killing grid. Dead insects drop out of sight into a sanitary, removable collection chamber.
The FC-8800 is designed for either indoor or outdoor use and is ideally suited for installation in restaurants, food processing plants, retail food stores, meat-packing plants, barns, stables or wherever flies are a threat to health and sanitation codes and where the use of toxic chemicals is dangerous, undesirable or banned.

Family-owned since its start in 1920, Armatron International began operations as an automobile radio manufacturer. After over 80 years of innovation, it is known today through its Flowtron division as a worldwide leader in outdoor products. From the 1920s through the 1960s, the company advanced its manufacturing and design capabilities to include tape players and stereo systems for automobiles and for home use. Responding to increasingly fierce competition from the Far East, the company began diversifying into other product lines. In 1974, the Flowtron Outdoor Products Division was formed to design, develop and manufacture electric heaters and electronic insect killing devices for residential and commercial use. In 1980, the company changed its corporate name from Automatic Radio Manufacturing Company to Armatron International, Inc. to better reflect its expanded line of consumer products. Today, through its Flowtron Outdoor Products Division, the company designs, develops, manufactures and sells a select line of lawn and garden products. Its products are distributed to major retailers in the USA and Canada and to foreign markets throughout the world. Advice- Remove the bug tray. Water hose it down every month or so. This is the absolute death star of bug zappers.
And remember, if it doesn't have a clutch and a kick start, there's no way there is a better zapper made anywhere. I Houston hot tub and zero mosquitoe bites in 2 years proves that.
Long live the Dearth Star. And get any electric plan that's free overnight. So you can turn the air down to frigid, as you watch the neon blue light show.
- Death Star-class bug zapper!
- Bugs=fertilizer?
- Can be mounted sideways or in a tree (sturdy).
- Bright. Best if scheduled on a timer (e.g. 8 to midnight). At 3 or 4 am its still neon blue bright.
- Kills everything that touches it.
