A sturdy, waterproof ski glove with extra long heated panels on the fingertips for comfortable warmth on cold winter days. Hardwearing materials and timeless design make it perfect for skiers and others who get cold fingers. A CZone membrane protects against wetness, and goatskin provides durability and good grip.

The Heater Gauntlet is designed for skiers who don't want to let frozen fingers ruin a great day on the slopes. This thermal glove is made from hardwearing goatskin, with weather-resistant softshell fabric on the backhand. A CZone membrane protects against wet snow, and a microfleece liner with synthetic insulation insulates and wicks away moisture. On colder winter days, heated panels on the fingertips help keep your fingers warm.* The heat is adjusted in three steps with an easily accessible control in the Hestra logo on the backhand. Replaceable and rechargeable batteries and a charger are included, as well as Hestra handcuffs (wrist straps) to make sure you don't drop the glove. Velcro adjustment at inside wrist, and a battery pocket in the cuff.

Perfect for many outdoor activities on chilly winter days, and ideal for lift-served skiing and when you're a little further away from the prepared slopes. Also available as a mitten.

Heating Time: Low: 10 hours, Medium: 5 hours, High: 2.5 hours.

NB: At highest power, the heat in the panels is close to body temperature, supporting the hand's own warmth - they will therefore not feel 'hot' when you put the glove on. It is this supporting warmth combined with the insulation in the glove that helps to keep the fingers warm.

The right size is important to ensure the heated panels work properly. Too big a glove will mean a greater distance between the heated panels and the fingertips, thus reducing the heating capacity. If you have a very narrow hand, you should consider going down a size. An alternative option is to use a heated liner combined with a traditional ski glove.

You can test the heating function by fully charging the batteries and turning the heating system to its highest setting. After a few minutes, put on the gloves and all your fingers should feel distinctly warm. Keep the heated panels on at the highest setting and check that the heating system's LEDs remain lit for about 2-2.5 hours (applies to 4000 mAh battery pack).

This gives us complete control of the entire production chain and ensures high quality at every stage. Several of our models are handmade by some of the most experienced glove makers in Europe.

In 2012, we produced over 2 million pairs of gloves. The company has about 35 employees in Sweden. We also have a subsidiaries in the United States and Germany as well as agents, distributors and retailers in over 30 countries.

In addition to Scandinavia, the United States, Alp-countries and Japan are our largest markets. The owners and managers are brothers Claes and Svante Magnusson. They have two sons - the fourth generation of Magnussons - who also work at Hestra.
