Gobi Heat's mission is to deliver products that allow our customers to enjoy the outdoors year round. Our story is one of an unconventional act of romance. Our founder is are a husband and wife team living in Utah. The wife is constantly cold and her husband, in an attempt to help her, bought her an over-priced heated jacket that came with a giant battery and even more enormous battery charger. This oversized battery still kept her from enjoying things such as skiing or snowmobiling because she was afraid to fall onto the battery. Even wearing it in the car, on cold winter mornings, wasn't an option because the battery jabbed her in her back. It quickly became clear that this poor design was an opportunity to innovate and solve these issues.

    Love this Hoodie

    Reviews about the Gobi heat women's hoodie indicated that the fit runs small. I normally wear medium but ordered XL. Fit is perfect - so comfortable and fits well under other winter jackets and coats if necessary!! Charging and operation are super easy. It is just what I needed to stay warm and cozy this winter in the Midwest.

    Fits nice except for the elastic waist band is way too tight. Ended up taking it off.

    I got this for my daughter who is always cold. The battery pack is pretty heavy in the pocket and makes her feel slightly lopsided. She reports the back panel is warm and the front panels are fairly warm. The best warmth is when inside. Outside seems to blow the cold out quickly as expected. She also reports one of battery packs doesn’t fully charge even when left for hours on the cord. Overall a great idea but we’re hoping for more heat overall and not just in pocket areas.

    I bought Gobi heated Hoodie for my daughter and she loves it .my next article will be the Colorado heated vest

    Great Until it Stopped Turning on

    The fit is snug, which wouldn’t have been an issue except the batter compartment rests right on my left hip bone, which is extremely uncomfortable and also sticks out like a sore thumb. It also makes that left hand pocket hard to use. That aside, I’ve had mine for JUST over a year and it just the other day decided it was going to do nothing besides flash its lights a few times every time I try to turn it on. Battery is fully charged. Wash and dry cycles were few and far between with the cord covered and in pocket, gentle cycles and low heat, or hang to dry. I’m not sure what happened. But being in MI in march it is still winter here. I’m cold and not very thrilled. I took very good care of this hoodie to ensure this type of thing wouldn’t happen. Will likely switch to dealt or Milwaukee due to this.
