Power button go through a 3 color self test when battery plugged in but afterwards the power button would not turn on the vest no matter how long button was depressed. I had to unplug battery , swap USB ports and hold in power button as soon as I plugged in the battery, and then am able to get vest to turn on .
The heating wires I felt through the vest cover a small area and can shift to one side or the other and must be worked back to top center of the vest.
I would have returned it immediately as defective, but figured out how to fool it into working.
The Economy Fed Ex Smart Post shipping just before Christmas time took longer than expected, but it did arrive and I got it to work for the time being. For $34.99 shipped to the door , could I make something better. Hell No, so I'm not complaining🤣
- Price reasonable, Looks nice , and has reflective bands.
- Switch needs to be held in while unplugging and plugging in battery for vest to turn on.
- Large labeled vest barely fit my medium size 50lb Pit
- Narrow non adjustable elastic bands at rear give dog double wedgie
- Small heated area of wires can shift to one side or other between inner and outer layers
- The only con is the battery slides to the side when she walks around.
